Jayne, Jayne, Jayne.
I could talk about this lady all day long. She isn't the usual type of Heroine I write. I usually write very normal, down to earth, every day sort of gals. Of course, I always give them an ounce of spunk, a quirk here and there, but never have I written a woman as fierce.
Jayne is definitely not the every day gal. She's a call girl, one that lives on the fringe of society, and she makes no apologies for her choice of profession.
Growing up in the sin littered town of Las Vegas, she learned very young how to live a life of crime. She's a swindler, plain and simple. She started small, and eventually found out that she had the equipment to make a lot of money. Her body.
She's a very sexual creature. She not only sleeps with men for the money, but she actually truly enjoys sex. She has bigger ambitions, which is why she slipped into the position of a madame. She was still in the industry, but she was more in control. Control is very important to her. She's been led into certain directions by the men in her life forever, but she has total and complete control over her body. This is something she absolutely never lets up on.
Until she meets Flynn. If you've read See Jayne Play, you know how he turned her life upside down.
What I hoped to do with Jayne, and what I hoped came across on paper, is that even though her model for life has been compromised, she finds herself in a better place. Things are different, but being a one-man woman suits her. At least I hope!
